... Trapped? [thats' ... not good at all. usually when spirits were trapped, it meant that something nefarious was afoot. of course, aizen didn't exist across universes so it had to be some other reason. ]

Do you remember the CrashTecs? I'm an Eva pilot so back home I have to control similar things but Evas are more biological than they are metal and wires. The Eva I piloted...it had the soul of my mother inside it.

Oh Shinji, I'm just looking after you. [he says with a small laugh, ruffling his hair as he gets up to find something that might help him sleep.]
